Cinnamon-sugared pecans are one snack that is hard to resist. They taste delicious and make your kitchen smell great too!

Cinnamon -sugared picans this Recipe

Cinnamon-sugared pecans are an easy and quick treat for the holidays and we know it will be one you will make again and again.

We know there are several places where you can buy delicious warm nuts. When it gets cold outside, theme parks sell them, too. Nibbling on a bag of spiced nuts while heading to your next ride is a special treat.

At Holiday parties, you can always use some spiced nuts. Guests will eat these up and tell you how great they are. They are that kind of food; very hard to resist.

These Cinnamon-sugared pecans take about 1 hour to make, and you don't have to do much. Just mix the pecans and turn them around every 20 minutes. They are a delicious snack that can be made with little work.

Ingredients for the Cinnamon-sugared pecans:

  • Pecans- These are the what we used, but you can use any nut that you like.
  • Egg whites- They help the cinnamon and sugar stick to the pecans. They kind of glue to the nuts.
  • Water- This also helps the cinnamon and sugar stick to the nut.
  • Sugar- This gives the sweetness to the nuts.
  • Cinnamon- A great warm flavor to add to these nuts.
  • Vanilla- For one reason, vanilla always adds that extra little taste that makes these pecans taste great.
  • Pam- We used pam sprayed onto the sheet pan so that the pecans didn't stick to the pan. Makes it much easier to get off.

Making the Cinnamon-sugared pecans:

Beat the egg whites and water with a whisk until just foamy. Don't whisk it too much.

Frothy egg whites for pecans to stick to

Add the sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon to the slightly frothy egg white mixture.

Adding flavor and sweetness

Mix everything up until it is all incorporated and slightly thick.

Mixture for the nuts is finished

Once it is thicken, add the pecans and mix them until they are coated with the sugar mixture.

 Adding in the nuts

Spread the nut mixture onto a sprayed cooking sheet and bake. Mix the pecans every 20 minutes to ensure they are not burning or sticking to the pan.

  Crunchy pecans

When they are done, they will have that cinnamony sugar flavor and are nice and crisp.

Cinnamon-sugared pecans

Give them about 2 minutes to cool and toss them into a bowl and enjoy. Happy Holidays1
