Fried chicken tender bowls are a very simple dish to make and it seems that now everyone is looking for something to make without spending a lot of time in the kitchen. not only is it a really quick dish to make, but it is versatile. You can use leftovers in the fridge or frozen ingredients from the store.
We had leftover mashed potatoes that we just put into a pan with some milk and a pat of butter and mixed until it was smooth and hot. You can also go the instant potato route, nothing wrong with that.
Put the potatoes into a bowl and cover the top with gravy, gravy and potatoes go great together. We had chicken cream gravy in the fridge that we had with biscuits so we used that. You can also use a jar of gravy if you like to top the potatoes.
Next we put some leftover chicken tenders in the oven for a few minutes to heat up and put that into the bowl. You cna make chicken tenders from scratch or buy frozen opnes or pick them up at the store. They are all good.
Must have a veggie with the meal and corn was the one of choice, also had some leftover. We changed them up a little but adding some butter to a small skillet and cooking them for a few minutes or till they were soft. We then threw some corn in with them and heated them up together, before adding them to the chicken bowl. You can definetely use any corn or the verggie of your choice.
To finish the bowl off add some shredded sharp cheese or the cheese of your choice.
