Spinach and strawberry salad is a delicious change of pace from a regular green salad. It has crisp baby spinach and is topped with fruit, onions, nuts, and feta cheese.
This is a great summer salad for those who want to take advantage of the sweet strawberries that are in season. They also happen to go great with spinach; this is why people like this salad so much. We wanted to add a little extra to the salad, so we threw in some blueberries for another great fruit. This salad also has some sliced red onion, for a little sharp flavor, and some feta cheese, for that creamy taste. For the nuts in this salad, we made something on the order of an almond bark and sprinkled it on the top for a little added crunch.
You can dress up this salad with a poppy seed dressing, a vinaigrette, or our favorite raspberry vinaigrette.
Ingredients:
- Spinach
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Red onion
- Feta cheese
- Sugared pecans

Making the Spinach and Strawberry salad
In a large bowl, add the baby spinach, strawberries, blueberries, and red onion. Mix the salad, or just let the fruit sit on top of the spinach. Now, top that with some feta cheese and sugared pecans. You can always use other nuts, if you like; they are all really good for crunch in this salad.
This salad can also be changed by adding some toasted almonds or walnuts. You can also switch the feta cheese for goat cheese. You can even change the strawberries for blueberries or raspberries. This is definitely a delicious salad to make and one you can make to your liking. Mix the fruit and nuts and make it one of your favorite salads.
