Ingredients for mashed potato patties:
- Leftover mashed potatoes
- Butter
- Oil
- Salt
Making crispy mashed potato patties:
You start by forming cold mashed potatoes into balls with an ice cream scoop, then form them into a patty with your hands. When they are all formed, just add some butter and a little oil to a skillet. When they start to crisp, just turn them and cook the other side until it is crisp and brown. Cook them on a medium heat so they don't brown too quickly.
Cook the potato patties in a little bit of butter and oil. If the pan becomes too dry, just add a little more butter and oil to the pan.
The crispy mashed potto patties are nice, browned and crispy. Just take them out of the pan and serve.
