Fruit salad with lemon- lime dressing, very refreshing
It's summertime and all the delicious summer fruit is in season and you want to do something with it, well a fruit salad with lemon-lime dressing is just the key. It's easy to make and the lemon lime dressing gives it just the right amount of sweetness and tang.
Summer time fruit
Make the dressing first
Agave syrup adds a nice sweetness
Sweet and tangy lemon-lime dressing
To make the dressing I grated the zest from one lime, then squeezed the juice from two lemons and three limes. It depends on the size of your fruit on how much juice you get. A good way to squeeze them to get the most juice is put in the microwave for about 7 to 8 seconds then press and roll on the counter.
Next I mixed together ¼ cup of honey, ⅛ cup of Agave syrup, 2 T. of the lemon juice, 3 T. of lime juice, and the zest of the lime. I put this in the refrigerator until the fruit was ready.
Pour the lime dressing over the fruit for a delicious sweet but tangy dressing

Pick your choice of fruit
There are so many choices for your salad like peaches, blueberries, watermelon, nectarines, plums, cherries, strawberries, and blackberries. Choose whatever you and your family like and throw them together. Really good on a hot day or just watching tv.
I used what I had gotten at the store since they looked really good. I just cleaned and washed the fruit and measured about one cup of each and put them into a bowl and into the refrigerator for about fifteen minutes.
When they were chilled I poured the lemon-lime dressing over the fruit and mixed it around. I put it back into the refrigerator for another half hour then served.
