Who doesn't like a nice dollop of whipped cream on their dessert? This cream with the added flavor of cinnamon makes a great alternative. It is especially good on fruit desserts like apple crisp, or peach pie with crumble topping. It takes no time to make and makes your dessert a little extra special.
Ingredients:
This is a super fast topping which only uses three ingredients to make. They are heavy cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon.
Just put the cream into a bowl and whip until it is slightly thick.
Add the sugar and cinnamon to the cream.
Whip up until it is thickened and soft.
Now, here is the final result! A nice dollop served on the side of our peach pie with crumble topping, also pairs well with our apple crumble.
Cinnamon Whipped Cream
Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Put 1 cup of cold heavy cream into a bowl and mix until it is slightly thickened.
- Add the sugar and cinnamon and whip up until thick and forms soft peaks.
- Serve with desserts such as our Apple Crisp or Peach Pie with Crumble Topping.
