These chicken fajitas are amazing, they have just the right amount of spicy flavor. Chicken fajitas are served on tacos and everyone can add their own sides to the dish. We cook peppers and onions for a lot of flavor to this Mexican dish.
Saute the chicken with the taco seasoning and juices to get a real tasty meal.
Add sauteed peppers to the fajitas, colored peppers are really pretty.

Sides for Fajitas
When the meat is cooked and the peppers and onions are hot just put it on a taco that you have heated in the microwave with a damp towel on them for about 8 seconds. The tacos are more pliable this way. Now you can add sour cream, cheese, shredded lettuce, some avocado, and some lime juice. onto the meat and onion, pepper mixture. Enjoy
- 6 chicken breasts
- ⅓ cup taco seasoning mix
- Juice from 2 limes
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup orange juice
- Fajita shells
- Add taco seasoning mix to a bowl then add the lime juice, olive oil, water and orange juice. Mix these ingredients well with a whisk. Put chicken into a large zip lock bag and pour the fajita mix over them. Mix around and put into the refrigerator for several hours. When ready to use put chicken into a skillet and cook till nicely browned and no pink remaining. We usually put the steak onto a griddle and cook it that way. It doesn't take long to get done, really better if it is still pink not over cooked, this steak can get tough.
- When done serve with fajita shells that you have wrapped in damp paper toweling and put in the microwave for about 20 to 30 seconds. Everyone can then help themselves to the toppings. Enjoy.
