Cheese Ball

A great appetizer for the holidays or a party anytime, simply fantastic!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, soften
  • 2 Tbsps. sour cream
  • 1/2 Tbsp. fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh thyme
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 -3/4 cups pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese till completely soft.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except cheddar cheese until mixed together.
  3. Now add the cheddar cheese and mix till smooth. Then, form into a ball.
  4. Set onto a plate of chopped pecans and roll till cheese is covered. You might have to push some of the pecans on the cheese.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  6. Place cheeseball on a serving plate with a cheese knife and serve with crackers and/or bread.
