Appetizer eggplant parmesan

Appetizer eggplant parmesan is a great go-to recipe when you need something for everyone to eat before a main meal. These little air-fried eggplants make a good addition to your appetizer recipes. They have a crisp parmesan taste and are a take on a classic. Eggplant parmesan has been around for a long time because people like it.

Appetizer eggplant parmesan doesn't have the layers that are created in a big pan of eggplant parmesan, but these crispy slices topped with sauce and cheese makes an easy finger food for any party or get together. Just serve them with a little extra marinara sauce, if you'd like. People seem to enjoy these little parmesans because they can be picked up and just bitten into.

These appetizer eggplant parmesan are just individual slices of eggplant with the parmesan toppings added, then put into an air fryer or oven to just melt. Put them on some cute plates and maybe extra sauce for a great presentation that your guests will love.

Ingredients:

  • Slices of air-fried eggplant
  • Marinara sauce
  • Fresh mozzarella cheese

Making the Appetizer Eggplant Parmesan:

We like to use some tin foil on a tray sprayed with oil for easy cleanup whenever we can. To make these, just take some eggplant slices that have been breaded. We use our recipe, then add some warm marinara sauce on the top.

Next, we put a slice of fresh sliced mozzarella on the sauce. You can buy the sliced fresh mozzarella in the store so you don't have to slice it yourself. Then, just broil it for a few minutes until the cheese is hot and just starting to brown.

Appetizer Eggplant Parmesan

Ingredients

  • Slices of air-fried eggplant
  • Marinara sauce
  • Fresh sliced mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Take slices of some crispy eggplant, then put them on some tin foil on a sprayed tray.
  2. Top each slice with some warmed up marinara sauce.
  3. Now, top with a slice of fresh mozzarella cheese.
  4. Broil in the oven until the cheese is hot and melted and starting to brown slightly.
